3. Organic crops have been identified separately on the basis of information supplied by the applicants and growers when the crop was entered for certification.
4. The Potato Council operates a Safe Havens Scheme and details of applicants and growers participating in the scheme are available at http://www.assuredproduce.co.uk/ap/asp/safehaven.asp?ppg=1.
The Department cannot accept any responsibility for the accuracy of this information.5. Buyers and sellers of seed potatoes are reminded that the classification, labelling and marketing of seed potatoes in England is controlled by The Seed Potatoes (England) Regulations 2006 and The Seed Potatoes (Wales) Regulations 2006. Inclusion in the Register reflects the classification obtained as a result of official inspections during the growing season. It does not guarantee that the crops described will be marketed at the classes indicated.
Potential purchasers of seed potatoes for further multiplication within the Seed Potato Classification Scheme are advised that purchased stocks will be accepted onto the Scheme based on the grade indicated on the classification label only. You should check with your supplier that the seed you intend purchasing will be labelled at the grade you require. The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and the Welsh Assembly Government will accept no liability for any losses incurred as a result of reliance on information contained in the Register.
6. Section I is a summary of all the stocks of each variety, at the various grades of certification. Sections II and III are detailed lists of all stocks certified (including organic production). Applicants who are 'sole traders' and who have asked for their personal details to be excluded from the Register will not be identified although the stocks they had certified will appear in Sections I, II and III.
