New developments in food science: realising the potential of 'omics' technologies, 13-15 June 2012, Sand Hutton, York, UK
Genomic and post genomic technologies are a rapidly developing aspect of science which will have far reaching impacts for the food and agricultural sectors. The Symposium, hosted by Fera in collaboration with JIFSAN, aims to explore the potential uses of these frontier technologies. The event, this year in association with IFST and Campden BRI, will bring together industrial stakeholders, academic and government scientists to explore the potential impact of 'omics' technologies in the agri- and food sectors. During the Symposium international speakers will present work demonstrating the step changes that 'omics' technologies are set to deliver in their respective sectors. The event will also host a state-of-the art exhibition focussed on 'omics' technologies.
The symposium flyer with the preliminary programme is now available.
